Our Founder, Principal Lawyer
Yazhi Zheng, J.D., LL.M., is a lawyer with extensive cross-border experience at leading law firms in both Canada and China. She founded Yazhi Law to deliver strategic, cross-border legal advice with the responsiveness and personal, client-focused service of a boutique practice. Yazhi advises businesses and individuals on cross-border matters, with a particular focus on legal and commercial issues arising between Canada and China.
In addition to her legal practice, Yazhi is deeply committed to public service, professional leadership, and legal innovation. She serves as the CPD Liaison for the Ontario Bar Association’s International Law Section and is a board member of the Chinese Canadian Scholarship Foundation. She is also a co-founder of LexGPS, an AI-powered legal technology platform focused on access to justice.
